Fr. Ronconni’s Mission
Fr. Ronconni arrived in Patong, Phuket, just before the devastating tsunami of December 2004. Tasked by the Thai Stigmatines to minister to victims and their families, he dedicated himself to providing spiritual and emotional support during this extraordinary mission. Witnessing the need for a spiritual sanctuary, he worked tirelessly to establish Sacred Heart Church, which continues to serve both locals and visitors in Patong.
Leadership Transition
After years of dedicated service as the church administrator, Fr. Ronconni returned to Italy in March 2022 due to health concerns. Since then, the church has undergone renovations and is now under the care of Stigmatine priests from the Phuket community.

Italian: 5:00 PM (from the First Sunday of Advent until Easter)
Thai: 2:00 PM (by appointment)
A Church for All Nations
With a congregation largely composed of tourists, Sacred Heart Church embodies a “church of all nations,” uniting people of diverse tongues and cultures in shared faith and celebration.
